April 17-18, 2004

The weekend of April 17-18 was spent in the Fargo, ND area. Ron, Cathy, Dad and I left on Saturday to sing at the Cornerstone Coffeehouse in Fargo that evening. Special D has been singing there for many years so it’s always good to see our friends there. It was a small crowd with plenty of popcorn, coffee, and smiles . . . which makes for a very casual, family-style evening. We always have fun there.

After a full evening of singing, we were able to spend some time with our good friends, Roger and Pam, who have been involved with Cornerstone for over 25 years. We’ve gotten to know them over the years and were so glad to have some time with them, sharing the joys and challenges of ministry.

Sunday morning we sang at the Assembly of God church in Pelican Rapids, MN. Once again, Grandma and Grandpa graciously opened their home to us so we stayed there Saturday when we arrived from Fargo. Grandma and Grandpa came with on Sunday morning . . . it’s always fun to see them among the faces when we sing.

The service Sunday morning was great. This was another first-time church for us and we were so blessed by their willingness, enthusiasm, and support. The Lord poured out His blessings on all of us as we worshipped together. It is so amazing to be a part of His family. We’re looking forward to the next time we get to see the folks at Pelican A/G!

We’re looking forward to seeing many of you, too! Our Summer Singing Schedule is posted below . . . we’ll be looking for you! NJD
