Mother’s Day at Bethel

Mother’s Day morning was spent with many friends at Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Devils Lake, ND. Ron, Cathy, Mom, and I all work in Devils Lake and I think we all saw at least one face from the workplace—it was a nice change of pace to see each other in church.

Our involvement in the service at Bethel was a real blessing as we were honored to lead their praise and worship time. How special to see the congregation standing and hear them singing with us, “Amazing love, how can it be that You, my King, would die for me?” It is so amazing to be a part of the body of Christ and to worship Him together. Let’s not take this privilege for granted!

After the service we got in on the adult Sunday School class—donuts and coffee, too. We enjoyed the conversation about what it means to have confidence in the Lord—trust, faith, patience, and obedience were all things that came up in our discussion. It’s always encouraging to listen and learn from each other.

Thanks to Pastor Bruce and everyone at Bethel for making our morning special and for your encouragement, too. We couldn’t do this if we didn’t have the support of you and so many others. We appreciate you all and are asking God to encourage you all today and provide for whatever your needs may be.
