Thankful . . .

Busy weekend with much to be thankful for!

Dad drove home from Bismarck on Friday in the storm and we were thankful that he got home safely. He had been sick all week and we all thought that his voice was gone, but we were thankful that he was able to sing some inspite of the cold!

We spent Saturday evening singing with the FaHoCha crowd. . . so thankful for that ministry and for sweet worship with those who came out for the annual meeting and banquet. Jay shared about what’s been going on at camp and read an amazing letter from one of last year’s campers–very touching! Pastor Bruce shared memories of his days at FaHoCha and encouraged us to look ahead to what the Lord has in store.

Sunday morning we pulled into Grafton. . . a little unsure of where the A/G church was, but we were thankful to find it almost right away. 🙂 We had a great time with the folks there–fun worship and neat people. A dear friend of Ron and Cathy’s was there as well as some other friends who we hadn’t seen for years–they were asking about “that little girl we visited with” and were shocked when they realized that that “little girl” was me. 🙂 We were so blessed and filled with thanks for the support and encouragement we received from Grafton Assembly of God. THANK YOU!

After lunch we drove 16 miles west to Park River and set up our equipment for the 3rd time in less than 24 hours (we’re getting pretty fast)! We enjoyed an afternoon concert at Victory Free Lutheran Church with our good friends, Pastor Mark Antal and family. We were thankful to see more familiar faces and old friends . . . a really special afternoon. Thank you so much for having us!

We have next weekend off as I’ll be in Chicago for a wedding, but we’ll do our best to keep you posted about other upcoming events. Thankful for you!
