Winter Show and Dining-Out

We had a busy week last week and we’re gearing up for a full weekend. Here’s a brief update of last week’s events. . .

Tuesday night we were privileged to be part of a first-time event at the North Dakota Winter Show: Gospel Music night! We shared the stage (made of two semi-trailers side by side) in the main arena with two other groups–Solid Ground from Bowden, ND and Prairie Fire from Fargo, ND. We each had about 35 minutes to perform for an enthusiastic crowd of about 700! I think the turn-out was encouraging for everyone, especially those who organized the first-time Gospel Music night–they hope to make it a tradition at the Winter Show!

Friday night we were very honored to provide music at a “Dining Out” banquet put on by the North Dakota National Guard as part of their Military Medical Conference in Fargo. The ceremony stirred deep patriotism and honored those who have served and who are currently serving in the military. It was a true honor to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” as the colors were being presented at this formal military event. We were reminded several times that evening of what privilege and responsibility we have as United States citizens. Remember to pray for our country, our leaders, and those serving in the armed forces.

This weekend we’ll be in Bismarck singing at Bismarck Baptist Church on Sunday morning and Faith Christian Center in the evening. Our spring and summer schedule is filling up fast so be watching for an Upcoming Events Schedule. Thanks for your support and continued prayers!
