Busy in Bismarck

We had a busy day on Sunday singing at three services–two at Bismarck Baptist and one in the evening at Faith Center Church of God of Prophecy (it took us awhile to get that name straight!).

The services at Bismarck Baptist (9:00am traditional and 11:00am contemporary) were both very special as it was the last day of their 40 Days of Purpose study. We shared some special music and led the congregation in a couple of hymns during the first service. Also were blessed by the baptism of a woman in the church. . . watching the joy on the faces of her elderly parents and hearing her father’s beautiful prayer was amazing!

Our role in the contemporary service was to lead praise and worship. It was fun to be able to use a couple of our new songs–amazing worship songs that we’ve been excited to share! We enjoyed our time at Bismarck Baptist and were thankful to be a part of their services. It had been a couple of years since our last visit and we were glad to be there again.

Sunday evening we did a concert at the Faith Center. This was a first-time visit to Faith so it was great to meet the folks there. We were especially blessed to have many dear friends in the audience–several fellow musicians and some very dear friends from home. It was a fairly small group, but we all laughed much and had a great evening.

We pray that you all have a blessed Easter. May the truth of Christ’s death and resurrection renew a sense of hope and freedom in your hearts!
