Family Camp at Cooperstown. . .

Labor Day weekend was spent leading worship, learning, and meeting new friends at Cooperstown Bible Camp southeast of Cooperstown, ND. We’d all heard much about the camp, but this was our first experience there . . . what a beautiful facility!

Special Delivery had the privilege of leading worship at three sessions of the Labor Day Family Camp. We arrived on Sunday morning for the first session and enjoyed the warm afternoon visiting and touring the camp. Sunday evening we led an old-fashioned hymn sing . . . people requested their favorite hymns (I’m so thankful that my Mom, Alice, was there to accompany on the keyboard!) and everyone sang along! After the hymn sing the evening session with Dr. Ben Sawatsky got underway . . . what a blessing to listen to Dr. Sawatsky teach from the Word!

Sunday evening after the session we had ice cream and visited more with new and old friends. (The atmosphere at camp seems to make you want to stay up late talking!) We stayed over Sunday night and led worship at the last session on Monday morning before having to head home.

Thanks so much to everyone at Cooperstown Bible Camp for the great weekend! We were blessed to be a part of it!
