Harvest Festival at Cooperstown

On our way home from the Midwest Quartet Convention in Des Moines, we stopped at Cooperstown Bible Camp to sing for the Cooperstown Evangelical Free Church’s harvest festival. The Lord is always so gracious to provide the strength and energy we need!

We pulled into the Bible camp about 6:00pm on Sunday night, unloaded the equipment, set up, got changed, and enjoyed a very special evening with the folks from Cooperstown E-Free. We saw quite a few familiar faces as we were at the camp leading worship over Labor Day. I think the Lord spoke to each of us in a personal way through music, prayer, and fellowship with the people there on Sunday night. Thanks for having us!

Just a side note . . . we were visiting with the pastor’s wife after the service and she mentioned that she had talked to a friend earlier that day whose husband had just got back from a singing convention in Des Moines! It turns out that he is a member of Foundation Quartet! The Southern Gospel music world is small, too, I guess!
