We had a beautiful day for the 5th Annual Gospel Extravaganza in the Cando City Park! Thanks so much to everyone who worked to make the day a success and thanks so much to all of you who attended the event!

We started out the day at 8:00am setting up the “stage” (trailer) and sound equipment as Special Delivery provided music for the 10:00am Cando Lutheran Church’s outdoor worship service. We enjoyed lunch with them after the service in the park and then did some final preparations for the music beginning at 1:00pm!

The Lord answered many prayers for good weather. . . we enjoyed sunshine, blue sky, temperatures in the upper 80’s, and a breeze! The park was scattered with people who seemed to be clustered together in the areas of shade. Needless to say, there was a lot of moving around throughout the day in order to follow the protection of the shade! 🙂

Good fellowship, good music, and good friends sums it up . . . several friends drove all the way from Fargo to take in the day! What a surprise to see them walking towards the park! Thanks to all of you who attended!

Throughout the day we enjoyed the music of L & L Ministries, Simply Kristi, 2 for 1 Music, The Master’s Plan, The Waddingtons, Jim Vilandre, First Love, and the Freund Family Singers. We hope to have pictures up soon! Each group did an excellent job and we were so thankful for their willingness to share their music!
